Things For Learning, Inc. was founded in 1974 with the goal of making available the very best learning materials for "students at risk." In memory of its founder, Jack A. Waters, this continues to be our goal-to provide you, the educator, with materials that will help your students set goals, make decisions, be responsible citizens, develop self esteem, learn skills for everyday living and find a career that will ensure success and a better future.
About This Site
This site is designed to represent a comprehensive collection of teaching and learning
materials appropriate for students from middle school to adult education who are not
achieving at a level expected of their age group. These students are "at risk"
of "falling through the cracks" in our education system. The products presented
herein have been carefully selected and represent all basic curriculum areas, along with an
expanded section on "personal development."
